Best Interest. At the hearing, the court will be guided by what appears to be the best interest of the child. If the child is of sufficient age to form an intelligent preference, the court may consider that preference in determining the question. Bond or Other Protection. Bond or other protection for the minor may be set if the court deems it necessary. Other Orders. The court shall make such orders as are necessary under the circumstances to carry out the purposes of the guardianship.
