Rule 2 Law and Fact Appeals Abolished

In Ohio courts, there used to be two types of appeals: one based on legal questions and one based on facts. This rule gets rid of that old system. Now there is just one type of appeal.

If you filed an appeal under the old system before this rule took effect, your case will still be handled. The court will treat it as a regular appeal and move forward with it.
