Sec 10.12 Confidentiality

Most cases handled under this rule are kept private. That means the records, filings, and proceedings won't be available to the public unless the Supreme Court specifically decides to open them up. The only exception is when the case involves an actual disciplinary proceeding covered under Rule 10.4, which follows different rules about privacy.

To keep these cases confidential, the court keeps a separate set of files and a separate docket just for this purpose. This is not mixed in with regular public court records. The Chief Justice oversees this private system to make sure it stays confidential and is handled properly.

For someone involved in one of these cases, this means their situation won't show up in normal public court searches. It gives people some protection and privacy while their case is being handled, unless a judge later decides the case needs to be made public.
