Sec 6.14 Briefing After Report by Trial Panel

Once the Trial Panel finishes its report on a disciplinary case, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court sets a schedule for the parties to file briefs. Briefs are written arguments that explain each side's position before the Supreme Court makes its final decision.

The whole briefing process cannot take longer than 60 days from the time the Trial Panel's report is received. This is a firm deadline meant to keep the case moving forward without unnecessary delay.

The Supreme Court also treats these cases as a priority. Instead of following the normal pace of other court matters, disciplinary cases move through the system faster once they reach this stage.
