Sec 6.5 Amendment of Complaint

If a complaint has already been filed against someone, the General Counsel can still make changes to it later. This means they can add new allegations or drop ones that are already there, following the same basic rules that apply to changing complaints in regular civil court cases.

If the complaint gets changed this way, the person it's filed against (called the respondent) gets extra time to respond. They have 20 days from the date of the change to file their answer. This gives them a fair chance to address whatever new or updated allegations are now part of the case.
