§ 1 Title of chapter.

This rule simply gives an official name to the group of laws that follow. Oklahoma calls this set of laws the "Code of Civil Procedure." These laws lay out the rules for how civil court cases work in the state, things like how to file a lawsuit, what steps happen during a case, and how courts handle disputes between people or businesses.

There is nothing more to this rule than the naming itself. It does not create any rights, deadlines, or requirements. It just tells you what to call the collection of rules you are reading, so everyone knows they are looking at Oklahoma's official civil court procedures.
