§ 1147.6 Fees and costs.

When a trust sale case goes through court, the judge decides how much everyone gets paid for their work on the case. This includes payment for the guardian ad litem (the person appointed to look out for someone who can't represent themselves, like a child or someone with a disability) and the trustee (the person managing the trust).

If the sale actually happens, these fees and costs get paid out of the trust's money. If the sale doesn't happen, the judge decides who should pay instead. In that case, the costs get split among the adult parties involved in the lawsuit, based on what seems fair given the situation.
