§ 1244 No judgment until claim due.

If someone files a lawsuit and asks the court to attach (freeze or seize) the other person's property, but the actual debt or claim isn't due yet, the court won't issue a final judgment on that claim until it actually comes due. In other words, you can't collect money early just because you started the legal process early.

However, this doesn't stop the attachment part of the case from moving forward right away. The court can still act quickly to secure the property in question through attachment proceedings, even while the main claim is still waiting to mature. This protects the plaintiff's ability to secure assets now, while making sure they don't get paid before they're legally entitled to be paid.
