Oklahoma has many different laws that say where you can file a lawsuit. This rule says all those laws work together, not against each other. If a law gives you the right to file your case in a certain location, you can use that law, even if another law might also apply.

Courts cannot pick one venue law over another just because they think it is more "general" or more "specific." Every venue law counts equally. This means you have more flexibility in choosing where to file your case, as long as you can point to at least one law that allows filing in that location.

In short, this rule protects your choice of court location. If any valid venue law supports filing your case where you filed it, the court should accept that choice. The court cannot throw out your case by claiming a different venue law should have controlled instead.
