§ 3303 Applicability.

This rule explains when the collaborative law law starts to apply. If people sign a collaborative law agreement on or after the date this law took effect, the law covers them. The agreement also has to meet the specific requirements listed in Section 4 of the act.

In simple terms, this means older agreements signed before the law took effect are not covered by these rules. Only new agreements that are signed after the law started, and that follow the rules in Section 4, will be treated as valid collaborative law agreements under this act.
