§ 621 Notice before filing report.

Before a referee turns in their report to the court, they have to give both sides a heads-up first. Specifically, they must send written notice to every attorney involved in the case at least four days before filing the report.

This notice has to name the exact day the report will be filed. This gives the attorneys time to know when the report is coming so they aren't caught off guard. It also gives them a chance to prepare if they plan to respond to or challenge what the report says once it's filed.
