§ 734 Property bound after seizure.

Once a debtor's property gets seized to pay off a debt, that property becomes officially tied to the case from that exact moment. This applies to real estate that wasn't already covered by the judgment, as well as personal property like goods and belongings.

Basically, the seizure itself is what locks the property into the legal process. Before the seizure happens, the property isn't bound by the judgment. But once officers take action to seize it for payment, it becomes legally connected to satisfying that debt starting right then and there.

This matters because it sets a clear starting point. If someone tries to sell or transfer the property after it's been seized, that transfer usually won't count, since the property is already committed to paying off the judgment from the moment it was taken.
