Rule 1.5 Clerk's Office Closed

If you need to file something with the court and the deadline lands on a day the Clerk's office is closed, you get extra time. Your new deadline moves to the next day the office is open to the public.

This usually applies to weekends, holidays, or other days the courthouse shuts down. So if your paperwork is due on a Saturday or a holiday, you don't have to worry about missing the deadline. You can file it on the next business day instead, and it will still count as being on time.
