§ 1101.1 Offenses relating to prostitution bailable.

If someone is arrested for a prostitution-related crime under certain Oklahoma laws, they can get out of jail before trial by posting bail. But the law sets rules on how that bail has to work.

The bail amount must be at least $15,000. A judge cannot set it lower than that for these charges. This means the person needs to pay this amount, or work with a bail bond company, to be released while their case is pending.

The law also says the person cannot be released on their own word alone. This is called a "personal recognizance bond," where someone promises to show up to court without paying money upfront. For these specific charges, that option is not allowed. The person must post actual bail money or use a bail bond service to get out of jail.
