§ 1113 Plea of guilty.

If you get a ticket or warrant and decide to plead guilty, you can just mark your guilty plea directly on the ticket or warrant itself. You don't have to go through a longer process to enter your plea.

If you already paid a bond, that money will be used to cover your fine and court costs. The good news is that the fine and costs can't be more than the amount of the bond you already paid. So you won't end up owing more money than what you put down.

This rule basically makes things simpler and faster for minor charges. Instead of requiring a court appearance to plead guilty, it lets people handle the whole thing through the ticket and bond process, as long as the bond covers what they end up owing.
