§ 1141.30 Short title.

This law simply gives a name to a set of rules about extradition. It's called the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act. Extradition is the legal process of sending someone accused of a crime back to the state where the crime happened, so they can face charges there.

This particular section doesn't create any new rights or duties. It just tells you what to call this group of laws when you're looking them up or talking about them. The actual rules about how extradition works are found in the other sections that follow this one.
