§ 1306 Certificate of sufficient cause - Proceedings by grand jury or district attorney.

When a corporation is accused of a crime, a judge (called a magistrate) first looks at the evidence to decide if there's enough reason to move forward. If the judge decides there is enough evidence, they issue a certificate saying so.

Once that certificate is issued, the case moves forward the same way it would for a regular person accused of a crime. The grand jury or the district attorney can take the next legal steps against the corporation, just like they would if the accused were an individual person instead of a company.

This rule basically puts corporations on the same legal footing as individuals once a judge finds enough evidence to proceed. The company doesn't get special treatment or extra protection just because it's a business instead of a person.
