§ 1373 Short title - Postconviction DNA Act.

This law gives it an official name: the "Postconviction DNA Act." You'll see this name used when people talk about the parts of Oklahoma law that let someone ask for DNA testing after they've already been convicted of a crime.

Think of this as just the title page of a book. It doesn't spell out the actual rules yet. It simply tells you what to call this group of laws so everyone (judges, lawyers, and people in prison) knows which set of rules they're talking about when they reference DNA testing after a conviction.
