§ 1373.7 Appeals.

If a court rules on a request made under the Postconviction DNA Act, either side can appeal that decision. The appeal follows the same process as any other criminal appeal in Oklahoma. There are no special or extra steps just because the case involves DNA testing.

This means the normal rules, deadlines, and procedures for filing an appeal still apply. If you want to challenge a court's decision about DNA testing under this law, you need to act within the same time limits and follow the same steps you would use for any other criminal appeal.
