§ 1401 Short title.

This part of the law gives an official name to a group of related rules. Sections 1401 through 1419 are called the "Oklahoma Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act," often shortened to the Oklahoma RICO Act.

This naming rule does not create any new crimes or penalties by itself. It simply tells you what to call this set of laws when you look them up or talk about them. The actual rules about racketeering and organized crime are found in the other sections that follow this one.
