§ 179 When bail is not given.

If someone is arrested and the court says they can get out on bail, but they can't come up with the bail money right away, the officer in charge can't just let them go free or hold them without any next steps. Instead, the officer has to bring the person back before a judge.

This means the person goes before the same judge who signed their arrest warrant, or another judge in the same county if that first judge isn't available. This step makes sure someone in a position of legal authority reviews what happens next.

Basically, this rule protects people from being stuck in a legal gray area. If you're granted bail but can't pay it on the spot, you don't just sit and wait with no plan. The system requires a judge to look at your case again and decide what should happen.
