§ 321 New grand jury in certain cases.

If a grand jury gets dismissed because someone successfully challenged the entire panel, the court doesn't just have to give up. The judge can order that a new grand jury be brought in to take its place.

The same goes for other situations too. If the judge decides for any reason that a new grand jury is needed, they have the power to make that happen. This gives the court flexibility to keep the criminal justice process moving forward, even if problems come up with an original grand jury panel.

Basically, this rule makes sure that a legal issue with one grand jury doesn't bring the whole system to a halt. The judge has the final say on whether a replacement grand jury is called for, based on what they think is necessary for the case to proceed properly.
