§ 361 Foreman.

When a multicounty grand jury is formed, the court picks one person from the group to serve as foreman. This person leads the group of jurors as they carry out their work.

If the foreman is later let go or excused before the grand jury finishes its work, the court will pick a new foreman to take over. This makes sure the grand jury always has someone in this role until it's fully done with its duties.
