Small mistakes in how a criminal charge is written don't automatically ruin the case. What matters is whether the mistake actually hurt the defendant's ability to get a fair trial. If the flaw is just about form and doesn't harm the defendant's real rights or their case on the merits, judges are supposed to overlook it. This rule exists so that cases get decided based on real evidence and facts, not thrown out over paperwork errors that don't actually cause any harm.
