§ 453 Officer to bring defendant before court.

If you're locked up and need to be in court, the judge can order the officer holding you to bring you there in person. This applies whenever your presence is actually needed for something happening in your case.

This rule gives the court the power to make sure you show up when it matters. You don't have to arrange your own transportation or worry about missing a court date because you're in custody. The officer in charge of holding you is responsible for getting you to the courtroom when the judge says it's necessary.
