§ 988.1 Short title.

This section simply gives a name to a group of laws. Sections 1 through 25 are officially called the "Oklahoma Community Sentencing Act." When you see this name used elsewhere, it refers to these specific laws.

This kind of rule doesn't create any new legal requirements or rights on its own. It just sets up the title so that courts, lawyers, and other people can refer to this group of laws easily instead of listing out each section every time.
