§ 988.25 Impermissible occupation — Ineligibility for community sentencing.

If someone is charged with or convicted of the specific offense described in Section 2 of this law, they cannot get community sentencing. This is true no matter what other parts of the Community Sentencing Act might normally allow.

In simple terms, this rule blocks a certain group of defendants from qualifying for community-based sentencing programs. Even if a person might otherwise meet the requirements for community sentencing under other rules, this specific charge or conviction automatically rules them out.
