Rule 1.13 Electronic Signature and Submission

Title 1: General Provisions

(1) For purposes of this rule, “Form” means only a form made available by the Bar on its website for electronic submission to the Bar through the Bar’s website and “filer” means the attorney using the Form and self-identified in the completed Form. (2) When a Form requires a signature under penalty of perjury, in addition to signing and submitting the Form electronically, the filer shall sign a printed version of the Form and retain the signed Form in its original paper form for no less than 30 days.

(3) A licensee may submit a Form through the Bar’s website at any time, except when the Bar’s electronic filing system is temporarily unavailable.

(4) Filing a Form pursuant to this rule shall be deemed complete at the time of electronic submission.
