§ 132.990 Premature inspection or disclosure of contents of indictment

If someone shares information about a grand jury indictment before they're supposed to, they can be held in contempt of court. This applies when a person breaks the rules that protect the secrecy of grand jury proceedings, either by looking at indictment details too early or by revealing that information to others before it's officially made public.

Being held in contempt means the court can punish the person for breaking these confidentiality rules.
