§ 144.515 Release terminates enrollment; continued employment

When someone in the work release program finishes their time and is released from custody, they are no longer part of the work release program. Their enrollment ends automatically once they're let go under the law.

That said, the Department of Corrections is supposed to help these people keep their jobs after release, as much as they can. This means the department should work with employers to make the transition smoother, so a person doesn't lose their job just because their time in custody has ended.
