Rule 13.030 Arbitration Commission

Each court has to set up a group called an arbitration commission. This group oversees how arbitration works in that court and gives advice or guidance when questions come up about the process.

The commission is made up of judges and attorneys who serve as members. The court administrator also sits on the commission, but in an ex officio role, meaning they're part of it because of their job position rather than being appointed separately.

This setup helps make sure arbitration cases run smoothly and that there's a knowledgeable group in place to handle problems or answer questions about how arbitration should work in that court.
