Rule 24.060 Disclosure of Witnesses Pursuant to ORS 138.615

If you're involved in a case that falls under ORS 138.615, both sides need to share information about who they plan to call as witnesses at trial. This rule sets a deadline for that disclosure.

The information must be shared no later than 60 days before the trial date. This gives both sides enough time to prepare, including time to look into the witnesses and figure out what questions to ask them.

A judge can change this deadline if there's a good reason. If someone needs more time or wants to disclose witnesses later than 60 days before trial, they need to ask the court and explain why. Without that kind of approval, the 60 day deadline applies.
