Rule 6.070 Jury Instructions

When you submit proposed jury instructions to the court, keep them clean and neutral. Don't put any names or details that would identify who filed them, whether it's the plaintiff, defendant, or their attorneys. The instructions should also be free of extra material like citations to case law or legal authorities.

The idea here is to keep the instructions focused purely on the legal content itself. This way, if the instructions get shared or reviewed, nothing on the page hints at which side wrote them or tries to argue a legal point through footnotes or citations. Just submit the actual instruction language the jury will hear, nothing more.
