Rule 1740 Order for an Accounting

When a court orders someone to do an accounting (a detailed report of money or finances), that person can appeal the order. Filing that appeal automatically puts the accounting order on hold while the appeal is being decided.

This means the person does not have to complete the accounting right away. They can wait to see how the appeal turns out before doing anything. The hold happens automatically when the appeal is filed, unless the court specifically says otherwise.
