Rule 2102 Intervenors

When someone joins a lawsuit as an intervenor, they follow the same rules as the party they are supporting. For example, if you join a case on the side of the person appealing, you follow the same briefing and argument rules that the appellant must follow.

Intervenors also have a shortcut available when writing their brief. Instead of rewriting arguments that another party already made, they can simply point to that party's brief and say they agree with what was written there.
