Rule 3533 Confidential Docket Number

When someone (who is not a law enforcement officer) needs to file certain private court documents, they must first call the Prothonotary or Deputy Prothonotary to get a special confidential docket number. The Prothonotary is the court clerk who handles official filings.

Once you have that number, every document connected to your case must use it. This includes applications, sworn statements, progress reports, and any court orders. Using this number helps keep the case private and separate from regular public court filings.
