Rule 501 Any Aggrieved Party May Appeal

If a court decision hurts you or goes against you in some way, you have the right to appeal it. This applies to anyone directly affected by the ruling, including a person managing an estate or trust on behalf of others.

Not everyone can appeal every decision. You must show that the court's ruling actually harmed you or put you at a disadvantage. If the outcome did not affect you negatively, you likely do not have the right to appeal.
