Plain-English Summary (for reference only — not a substitute for the rule text above)
This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
If you have a lawyer, your lawyer can handle almost everything in your case on your behalf. You do not need to personally sign or submit most documents and filings.
The one exception is verification. When a document needs to be verified, meaning sworn to as true, you must do that yourself. Your lawyer cannot verify a document for you.
