Rule 1079.1 Special Equitable Relief

Having an active lawsuit does not stop you from asking the court for emergency or special relief on the side. You can still go to court to request things like a temporary restraining order or an injunction, even while your main case is still going on.

This matters because sometimes you need the court to act quickly to prevent harm, and waiting for the main case to finish could be too late. The two requests are treated separately, so one does not block or slow down the other.
