Rule 2324 Effective date; pending actions

This rule sets the start date for when these civil procedure rules took effect. They became active on January 22, 1940.

The rules applied not just to new cases filed after that date, but also to cases that were already in progress at the time. Any lawsuit that was ongoing on January 22, 1940 had to follow these new rules going forward.
