Rule 3032 Praecipe for Writ of Revival. Form

When someone wins a court judgment, that judgment only stays active for a certain period of time. To keep it legally effective, the winning party must file paperwork to "revive" it, which basically resets the clock and keeps their right to collect the money alive.

This rule gives the exact form that paperwork needs to follow. The form tells the court clerk to issue a writ of revival, which officially renews the judgment. It includes the names of the people involved, the court where the original judgment was entered, and the amount of money still owed plus any interest.

The form also has a spot for "terre-tenants," which are people who now own property that was originally owned by the person who lost the case. This matters because the judgment may be tied to that property, so those new owners need to be listed too.
