Rule 3291 Trial

When someone responds to a petition and disagrees with what it says, a judge will decide the case alone, without a jury.

This type of trial follows the same process used in other non-jury civil trials in Pennsylvania. Both sides will still get to present their evidence and arguments, but the judge makes the final decision instead of a group of jurors.
