Rule 317 Procedure Upon Refusal to Accept The Conditions

When someone is offered a chance to go through a rehabilitation program instead of a regular criminal case, they have to agree to follow certain rules set by the judge. If they say no to those rules, the judge will deny them the chance to enter the program.

If that happens, the case moves forward like a normal criminal case. Nothing that was said or done during the program process can be used against the person later in court.
