Rule 562 Copy of Information to be Furnished Defendant

If you have been charged with a crime in Pennsylvania, you have the right to get a copy of the official charging document, called an "information." This document lists the specific charges filed against you.

All you have to do is ask the clerk of courts at the courthouse, and they must give you a copy. There is no complicated process involved.
