Rule 154 Requisites of Scire Facias

When a court issues a legal notice called a "scire facias," it must follow the same formatting and delivery rules as a regular court citation. The person serving the notice must also fill out and return the paperwork the same way they would for a standard citation.

If you receive one of these notices, it works just like receiving a regular court summons. The rules for how it gets delivered to you and how the server reports back to the court are the same as any other court notice.
