When a court officer or authorized person receives legal papers to deliver, they must write down the exact date and time they got those papers. They also need to record how they delivered the papers, where they delivered them, and when the delivery happened.

After completing the delivery, the officer must sign the paperwork in their official capacity. This creates a written record showing exactly what happened with the court documents from the moment they were received until they were delivered.
