Rule 248 Jury Cases

Before a jury trial begins, the judge will take care of all pending legal matters first. This includes things like motions, legal arguments, and any problems with the paperwork filed in the case.

The goal is to get all of these issues resolved before the jury even shows up. Once those matters are handled, jurors are then called to come to court on the scheduled day.
