Rule 326 Not More Than Two

If you lose a trial and believe the jury got it wrong based on the evidence, you can ask for a new trial. But there is a limit to how many times this can happen.

Each side can only get a maximum of two new trials for this reason. Once a party has received two new trials based on the evidence being insufficient or the weight of the evidence, the court cannot grant them another one for that same reason.
