Rule 636 Indorsements by Officer

When a court officer receives a legal document called an execution (an order to collect a judgment), they must write down the exact time and date they received it. This creates a clear record of when the officer got the paperwork.

If the officer receives more than one of these documents on the same day against the same person, they must number each one in the order received. This numbering helps keep track of which document came first when multiple orders arrive the same day.
