Rule 681 Temporary Injunctions: Notice

Before a court can grant a temporary injunction against someone, that person must first be notified. The court cannot issue one in secret or without giving the other side a chance to know it is happening.

This protects people from having a court order suddenly placed against them without any warning. If you are the person being taken to court, you have the right to know before a temporary injunction is put in place.
